Account & data deletion
You can delete your classroom.now account — and the personal data associated with it — at any time, directly in the app or in your browser. Deletion is free of charge and takes effect immediately.
Delete your account in the app
If you created your account in the classroom.now mobile app, you can delete it right there (the same path exists in the web app):
- Open Settings and choose Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion. You will be asked to type a confirmation before the account is removed.
Deletion is immediate and irreversible: you are signed out everywhere and the account cannot be restored or signed into again.
What is deleted
- Your profile — display name, avatar photo, language and region preferences, and public profile settings.
- Your sign-in account, including single sign-on sessions and refresh tokens.
- Your registered devices and active sessions.
- Your memberships in all organizations and training workspaces (revoked immediately).
What is retained
Records that the law or our customers' compliance obligations require us to keep — such as training completion and certification records, and security audit logs — are retained in anonymized form: they are no longer linked to your name, email address or any other personal identifier (GDPR Art. 17(3)). Email addresses associated with the account are kept solely to prevent impersonation and account takeover, and are never used for any other purpose.
Can't access the app?
If you can no longer sign in, you can request deletion by email from the address linked to your account: hello@classroom.now
If your account was created and is managed by your employer or a training provider, that organization is the data controller for its own training records. Deleting your account removes your personal data from classroom.now as described above; for questions about data your organization retains, contact them directly.
